I would generally recommend againt a direct purchase from the rental company such as Hertz, Enterprize, and Budget. You would probably do better by approaching a smaller semi-independent dealer. The competition is greater in the Metro Areas, so if where you live in FL is not considered a larger Metro area, I will certainly say you should go to the Orlando or Tampa area. I am still not familiar enough with the geography of Fl to know where you are in relation to these areas.

At one point I had a wireless phone account. The account went into default and was charged off in 1998 for quite a large amount of money. About nine months ago I went out and got a new account with the same wireless company. At the time the pulled my credit and everything was fine...there was not mention of the old account...I did not even have to put down a security deposit or anything. Six months go by with me talking to the company reps to attempt to settle the new account....would they be in violation for attempting to collect on the old account while settling the new account????
